The Santa Sylvia vineyard has been recognized as a potentially world class site for wines. The Jelu project has been created to promote the uniqueness terroir of the Zonda Valley. The weather and the terroir are extreme. Temperature variations of 50 degrees in one day are quite common in the summer months. The soil in this property is alluvial; it sits on an old riverbed. All these factors give these wines uniqueness quite difficult to match.
