Sybille Kuntz and Markus Kuntz-Riedlin are two of the leaders of the Mosel regions Riesling renaissance. Establishing a new estate headed by a woman in the traditional German wine industry has been a challenge. However their dry and refined wines have already made a splash on the international wine scene. This is a very serious effort. The Estate�s oldest vineyards were planted in 1921 and have been farmed organically since 1990. The Kuntz line is so exemplary of the drier style of Riesling Germany wants to promote that Sybilles wines are served in the German State Dept. to foreign dignitaries
