le Cruste (Nero di Troia) - 2019
Le Cruste is a Puglia red wine made from 100% Nero di Troia grapes and aged for 12 months in used oak French barrels and 10% in barriques. The enveloping bouquet of ripe fruit and sweet spices introduces a full-bodied and structured sip, with an enveloping tannic texture and a very long finish. Intense ruby red color with purple highlights. The nose is intense and persistent with rich notes of brambleberries and extremely ripe plums. Well-balanced with a silky tannin structure.
