The Riccio family built the winery in the 1980s as a vacation retreat for their children. It wasn't until the early 1990s that the vineyard and olive grove were established and winemaking started. The company's business history started in 2003, when Paola took over management of the fledgling enterprise, and ALEPA products were first introduced to the market.
