Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru - 2020
Strong and intense. This white grand cru is made in the same style as Montrachet or Meursault 1er cru Perrières. The terroir's promise is immediately felt. Clay-rich marly soils. The wine is smooth and lingering on the palate. This vine was given to the collegiate chapel of Saint-Andoche in Saulieu by Emperor Charlemagne in 775. 10-15 years of ageing potential. 10-12 degrees Celsius is the ideal serving temperature.
