About Lo-Fi Wines

Launched in 2014 by winemaker Mike Roth, Lo-Fi Wines is a passion project dedicated to producing vibrant wines without manipulations or additions. Roth continued production of Lo-Fi Wines while working as a winemaker with Coquelicot Estate, whose wines shared the Lo-Fi spirit. Today, Roth and Craig Winchester continue to guide the fermentation process of these easy-drinking, low-alcohol wines while maintaining their winemaking "day jobs." In fact, Coquelicot vineyards are the majority source of Lo-Fi's fruit, highlighting the duo's vineyard connections and winemaking chops. Lo-Fi Wines are crafted using minimal intervention and natural winemaking practices. With a focus on native yeasts and little or no sulfur, the wines showcase the unique character of the fruit and the vintage that spawned it. The use of neutral barrels, if any, ensures that the oak does not overpower the fruit. With nothing added and nothing taken away, Lo-Fi Wines are a true expression of the terroir and the dedication of its winemakers to producing exceptional wines with integrity.
