Los Nahuales Artesanal Metodo Antiguo is, as the name implies, an homage to the pre Norma, "old method" of producing mezcal. In efforts to maintain authenticity, this mezcal is crafted using the tails from the first distillation run instead of water. This final step takes the mezcal from distillation proof to bottling proof. The use of the tails gives this mezcal a unique flowery complexity you want find in other mezcals.
