About Sodevo

The vineyards are on the hills surrounding the winery in the center of Collio. The PONCA soil consists of marl and sandstone, and the rows of vines are grown on medium-high slopes that are environmentally friendly. Collio has ideal temperature ranges for a long maturation season thanks to its warm environment, close proximity to the Adriatic Sea, and the Alps. Grapes are picked only by hand and in small crates. They use both temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks and a cozy little barriqueria for vinification in their basement.
