The history of VNA traces back to 1982 when the Fiori Family acquired traditional vineyards near Torrazza Coste in the Oltrepò Pavese region of Lombardy. Initially producing wines for a select group, VNA's legacy evolved when in 2015, brothers Alessandro and Federico Fiori assumed direct control of the business, immersing themselves in wine production at the cellar.

Situated in the western Oltrepò Pavese, VNA lies at a strategic juncture near Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, and Liguria. Its proximity to Alessandria enables a unique sharing of grape varieties like Cortese and Barbera with Piedmont, shaping VNA's winemaking philosophy.

VNA's ethos revolves around innovative winemaking practices rooted in sustainable agriculture. Embracing a holistic approach, they prioritize environmental harmony by nurturing the land naturally and synchronizing with nature's cycles. Through methods like spontaneous grassing and stimulating soil fertility without artificial fertilizers, VNA maintains a deep connection to their terroir.

The vineyards at VNA, aged between 15 and 30 years, thrive on clayey and silty soils with alluvial origins. Cultivating varieties such as cortese, barbera, croatina, and uva rara alongside Malvasia, Riesling, and Chardonnay, VNA employs meticulous vine training techniques like Guyot and spurred cordon forms to ensure optimal growth without compromising the vines' natural development.

At the heart of VNA's winemaking lies their cellar where ancestral and artisanal methods take precedence. By minimizing invasive processes like filtrations and clarifications while exclusively using native yeasts, VNA crafts wines that embody a blend of passion and experimentation.
