Beaune 1er cru Boucherottes 2018
Beaune's rich history is what makes it stand out. However, there are many oenological marvels to be found in its vines. They planted their 1er Cru Boucherottes in Beaune on a terrace halfway up the slope, facing south-east, and below the Drouhin family's renowned Clos des Mouches. Because of its extraordinary position, Pinot Noir grown there develops concentration, complexity, and elegance. Purple color with a lot of vitality. Red berry aromas with traces of oak, with a modest acidity and soft tannins. Ageing potential: 10-15 years. Temperature for tasting: 16-18° C. Food and wine pairings: red meat, aged cheeses.
