Climate:The vineyards are in the southeast area of Montalcino, in Castelnuovo dell'abate, about 365m a.s.l. The winter is cold with a temperature range of 2-5°C, and the summer is around 25-40°C. The Monte Amiata montain prevents frost in the vineyards.

They also transform vegetable waste from their fields into fertilizer.
