This certified organic vineyard is located in the Moon Mountain District, at the narrow northern extremity of Sonoma Valley. This lovely vineyard is constructed of alluvial soil, igneous volcanic rock, and clay. On October 4th, 2015, grapes were picked. Handpicked and sorted, co-fermented with 20% whole cluster Mourvedre, native fermentation, seven-day cold soak, and seven-day extended maceration before being matured in neutral French oak puncheons for 14 months. Bottled without the use of fining or filtration. This vintage has a rustic feel to it, with beautiful layers of deep fruit roll greeting you with each sip. Red and black fruit aromas are laced with mild spice. Its medium-bodied fruit develops delightfully in your glass, silky and simple to drink. Decanting for 30 minutes is recommended.
