'Les Clos' is often considered the greatest site in Chablis. It sits squarely in the center of the Grand Cru slope, steep and imposing as it faces to the southeast. The resulting wines are always powerful, with great concentration and the capability to age for many years. At de Oliveira, they farm a tiny parcel of Les Clos (just a bit more than half an acre). The wine is fermented and aged 12 months in stainless steel before bottling.
