Blanc D'Orto 2020
A stunning example of Grenache Blanc, this dynamic bottling comes from 60 year-old-vines. Slowly fermented with native yeasts over four months, the final wine is nuanced and complex with notes of melon, chamomile, Asian pear, and a distinct saline note on the finish.
The nose is clean with primary beeswax, musk melon, chamomile, Asian pear – fruit complexity far exceeding the expectation of the grape. Medium bodied with good acidity (higher than expected for the variety), plantains, honeysuckle, aloe, chamomile on palate. Noticable length on the salty finish. Incredible textures. Chablisy.
