'Raspberry' Natural Beer 2021
A microbrewery, La Brasserie des Voirons is run by the charming Christophe and Barbara, who have backgrounds in the hospitality industry, wine import, and even ballet. Located in Lucinges, Savoy, not far from the French side of Mont Blanc (715 m above sea level), the brewery first poured its first beer in 2013. Because the glaciers in the Alps naturally filter the water, des Voirons is able to use it to create beer with a clean, crisp taste. And because they care so much about quality, Christophe and Barbara get their hops, barley, and wheat exclusively from Germany and Belgium. There is a specialty beer line that is matured in oak barrels for up to a year and features a wide variety of ingredients sourced from all across France.
