Riesling Lahoma Vineyard - 2014
From the moment the harvested grapes from Lahoma Vineyard arrive at Red Newt, the wine is dominated by flavors of orange. Every year, the winemaker behind this vintage aims to capture the wine's signature exuberant tangerine and apricot fruit expression in a bottle. Inspired by the sweet spot of a German Kabinett, this wine is approachable while young but improves with cellar time thanks to its freshness and sweetness. Kenny and Harlan Fulkerson have a spotless vineyard; they keep it trimmed, weeded, and hedged.
