2021 is one of the best Pinot Noir vintages of all time! A super cool and moderate summer made for a wine that is bright with acid but had enough time to hang in the vineyard to gain color and power. The majority of the Pinot Noir comes from the acclaimed St Rita area giving the wine a beautiful red fruit component while the Santa Maria fruit gives it an unmistakable savory California pinot nose. Complex enough to make you think but still easy to drink. It’s a drinkable wine but one that will go with so many types of dishes. Don’t be afraid to test the waters with a big steak, this wine can handle it!
