Illahe
Illahe Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery located in the Mount Pisgah area of the Willamette Valley. Founded in 2001 by Lowell and Pauline Ford with an original planting of 22 acres of Pinot Noir, they were later joined by their son Brad Ford in 2004, who now serves as head winemaker. The estate vineyard include 50 acres of Pinot Noir and an additional 10 acres of Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltliner, Tempranillo, and Viognier. Illahe Vineyards is committed to sustainable and responsible farming practices. The vineyard is LIVE-certified, Salmon Safe, and participates in Oregon's Deep Roots Coalition, which promotes responsible water management. The vineyards are maintained using ground cover, green pruning, rainwater collection, dry-farming, and a combination of plant topping and leaf pulling. These practices, combined with the warm microclimate of the vineyard, result in exceptional grapes that showcase the unique terroir of the Willamette Valley.
