Founded in 2010 and based in Kansas City, Union Horse is an upstart distillery that's family-owned and operated by the Garcia siblings. Focusing on craft whiskies, Union Horse buys its grain from local farmers and mills it at the distillery, giving them a unique amount of control over their grain. Every bottle of rye and Bourbon is hand-labeled and each bottle is numbered and signed by Head Distiller Patrick Garcia. Union Horse whiskies are not charcoal-filtered and no artificial coloring or flavoring agents are used. Handcrafted from 100% and barreled at 110 proof, each barrel is carefully selected by the head distiller at Union Horse. Straight from the barrel, uncut and unfilitered, this is whiskey in its purest form, reserved for the best of times. Notes of citrus, vanilla, mint, and black pepper.
