ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
Made from 100% Melon B grown on organic certified clayey-siliceous soils in the village of Monnières, Accostage reflects traditional Nantes vineyard methods: pneumatic pressing and cold racking in concrete vats covered with glass tiles. The wine is nourished on its lees for six months during fermentation, with no racking until bottling, and the vines are shaped by short Guyot Simple pruning and ploughed soils, with no synthetic products used in the vineyard.
The 2025 vintage is one of outstanding quality, with sun filled berries reaching optimal ripeness, well preserved acidity, and yields rarely seen in recent years, producing juices that are rich, balanced, and built for ageing. At 12% alcohol, the wine is best served at 9 to 11°C and has a potential ageing window of 3 to 5 years. It pairs beautifully with sea bream ceviche, cod baked in a papillote with fennel, or a green pea velouté with fresh mint.
