Clément and Florian Berthier are among the most captivating producers working in the Centre-Loire today. They farm just over thirty hectares on both sides of the Loire River, with 22 in the Coteaux du Giennois and the remainder in Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. The 'Parcellaire' Series was created to showcase the geological diversity of the appellation, examined through the lens of Sauvignon Blanc. 'Terre de Marne' comes from Kimmeridgean clay on a south-facing slope. The resulting wine is powerful and opulent, full of tropical fruit and tangerine notes, with a forceful mineral finish. It would pair well with both crab legs and roast chicken.
