ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
This wine embodies elegance and balance thanks to a blend of 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne, the appellation‘s iconic white grape varieties. The vines are between 25 and 105 years old and draw their character from the varied terroirs of Crozes-Hermitage. Each plot is vinified separately in carefully selected containers—globes, éclairs, amphorae, and Burgundy barrels. During the blend, the exuberant aromas of Roussanne are delicately balanced by the minerality and precision of Marsanne. Richness and freshness meet, generosity is tempered by tension, creating a table wine that is both expressive and precise, capable of enhancing food pairings without ever overwhelming them. A classic Crozes-Hermitage Blanc from Domaine Combier, true to the estate‘s spirit : authenticity, harmony, and the pleasure of sharing. The color is gold and deep. The nose is fruity and floral, with aromas of white fruits, peach, apricot, almond, butter, anise. The palate is savory and velvety, slightly rich. Crozes-Hermitage Blanc is a versatile dinner companion. It pairs wonderfully with roasted poultry, veal, and refined creamy dishes. Seafood lovers will appreciate it with pan-fried scallops or grilled fish. Fresh goat cheese or a young Comté cheese also enhance its balance between richness and minerality. Spring desserts centered around apricot, pistachio, and almond.
