ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
"Eau Forte" is a special cuvee from a single parcel located within the Beaujolais-Villages AOP, right on the border of the Brouilly AOP. Lapalu says this parcel consistently produces grapes with a unique aromatic profile and is always the easiest to vinify. If there were one parcel he would keep, this would be it. The wine is declassified into VDF because the tasting jury found it not representative of the AOP.
