The temperature of fermentation was between 22 and 25 oC. The fermentation was interrupted by the addition of grape spirit (brandy) with 77% alc. |

ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
The Casa de Santa Eufemia Ruby Port is a fresh and vibrant everyday Ruby Port wine, made for immediate enjoyment upon release. It has a ruby color and aromas of red fruit. In the mouth, it is fresh with persistent tannins. Tasting notes reveal aromas of dried fig, orange zest, acetone, papaya, dried apricot, ginger, saffron, dried flowers, raisin, balsamic, caramel, hazelnut, walnut, clove, leather, and tobacco. The palate is intense with flavors of raisin, coffee, and caramel, accompanied by a whisky-like nose. This Ruby Port is described as incredibly deep, intense and brown in color, with a complex and profound character.
