About Château Bouchereau
Château Bouchereau is located in the village of Massugas, at the eastern edge of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, within the AOP Bordeaux appellation.
The estate sustainably farms 40 hectares of vineyards and holds the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification. Founded in 1949 by the Cardarelli family, Château Bouchereau is now led by the fourth generation.
Situated between two rivers—the Dordogne to the north and the Garonne to the south—the estate benefits from soils composed of grey clay, marl, and limestone. The oceanic climate brings significant nighttime temperature drops, which help preserve the grapes' acidity and promote balance, even in particularly hot vintages.
Harvesting is done mechanically.
