About Château de Bonhoste

Driving to Château de Bonhoste you pass the Grand Cru Classé estates in Saint-Émilion, including Château Cheval Blanc, Château Ausone, Château Angélus, and Château Pavie, just before arriving in this quaint farming town of Saint-Jean-de-Blaignac. Château de Bonhoste is situated in this commmune. Since 2005, the fifth-generation brother-sister duo, Sylvaine and Yannick Fournier, have been managing these 44ha with a terroir of clay and limestone.

They have adopted sustainable viticultural practices since 2013, earning the HVE (High Environmental Value) certification which focuses on four essential themes: biodiversity preservation, phytosanitary strategy, plant management, and water resource management. Château de Bonhoste is an iconic journeyman domaine enjoying a prime location on a hillside facing Saint-Émilion, atop the Dordogne valley.
