As a natural progression from their 30 years of experience in the industry, Craft Distillers now offers Fluid Dynamics, barrel-aged drinks. Crispin and Devin Cain, master distillers, combine and age components from the Germain-Robin Distillery, the Low Gap Whiskey Distillery, the Clear Creek Distillery, and the Vya Vermouths to create these cocktails. Crispin and Devin are uniquely qualified for their new duty as mixologist because of their extensive knowledge of barrel maturation and their in-depth familiarity with each component and their specific role in the recipe. It takes Crispin and Devin months to perfect each recipe because they have to age the ingredients, try different combinations, fine-tune the proportions, and envision what the final product would be like after more time in the barrel. Fluid Dynamics Cocktails, which are consistently rated as among the best in the world, are made with components that have been matured in the Germain-Robin wine cellars. There are four different types of cocktails available at Fluid Dynamics: the Brandy Manhattan, the St. Nick, the Saratoga, and the 1850.
