About Mustela
The Mustela winery was established in 1978 in Trezzo Tinella, with only a small plot of Moscato grape vineyards. Over the years, the winery has grown, incorporating new vineyards and modern technologies, resulting in the creation of 9 different labels under the "Mustela" brand in 2003. Today the estate spans across 15 hectares, with approximately 8 hectares located in the Bric del Fuin hill of Trezzo Tinella, featuring mainly Moscato d'Asti vineyards, with some Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba, and Dolcetto d'Alba as well.
The vineyards have compact soils consisting of solid, bluish grey marl, layered with sand and stone, producing refined and elegant wines with good aging potential. In the Passatore district of Trezzo Tinella, fresher soils with a reddish-yellow layer of marl rich in calcium carbonate are dedicated to Sauvignon Blanc, Moscato d'Asti, and Pinot Noir, resulting in fresh and aromatic wines.
