Tom Macy, the founder and recipe developer, was hired by Julie Reiner as a barback in 2009. He later became the beverage director at Clover Club from 2012 to 2020. Julie Reiner, a founding partner, is a well-known figure in the cocktail industry, having opened several notable bars, including Flatiron Lounge, Pegu Club, Leyenda, and Milady’s. She is also a judge on the Netflix show "Drink Masters."

Social Hour Cocktails offers a range of unique, full-proof cocktails in the style of fizzes, highballs, and spritzes, with the same ABV, ingredient ratio, and serving size as those made from scratch.
