Dry Riesling Napa Valley
California , United States
| Type: | Still White Wine |
| Varietals: | Riesling |
| Region: | California , Napa Valley |
| Climate: | Leading up to the 2025 season, we received 35” of rain, slightly above average, with the heaviest storms arriving in February. Favorable conditions at budbreak and a warm spring gave the vines a strong start, though slower shoot growth required careful attention in the vineyard to focus on each vine’s growth. A cooler-than-normal summer extended the season, with harvest beginning in late August. The grapes matured slowly in the mild weather, allowing ample time for flavor development. Warm days in October provided a final push before seasonal rains arrived, producing a beautifully nuanced vintage. |

ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
This Riesling, grown entirely on the estate's Main Ranch, reflects a 2025 vintage shaped by above average winter rains, a strong start at budbreak, and a cooler than normal summer that extended the growing season, allowing the grapes to mature slowly and develop ample flavor before a final push of warm October days.
The wine offers fragrant notes of white peach, lychee, and jasmine, lifted by citrus blossom and lemon leaf, with a palate of passion fruit and lime zest layered with floral tones and honeysuckle, finishing on a chalky, slate like minerality. It's a natural match for delicate, fresh dishes, especially shellfish, white flaky fish, and lean white meats. Winery Chef Chris Kennedy recommends bright, herb forward pairings like oysters, cilantro and lime rice, or creamy avocado.
