California , United States
| Type: | Still Red Wine |
| Varietals: | 44% Cabernet Sauvignon | 32% Petit Verdot | 16% Malbec | 5% Merlot | 3% Cabernet Franc |
| Region: | California , Napa Valley |
| Climate: | The winter leading up to the growing season brought over 40” of rain, which was above average and a welcome change from the preceding drier years. Cool to moderate temperatures delayed budbreak and bloom by approximately two weeks and persisted as the growing season progressed. The vines grew at a leisurely pace, which allowed us to precisely time all our viticultural activities. Throughout harvest, the grapes had the opportunity to fully ripen with lower sugar and higher acidity, producing deep and bright wines of exceptional quality, reminiscent of classic heralded Napa vintages. |

ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc opens with rich aromas of clove and cherry, layered with hints of cola, mint, and cedar. On the palate, lush ripe cherry and maple syrup unfold alongside vanilla, leather, and molasses, with moderate tannins and a lively brightness through the mid palate. Winery Chef Chris Kennedy recommends pairing it with a classic cheeseburger, where the richness of the meat softens the wine's tannins, or with game meats like venison or elk to match its savory depth.
