Gilles Musset and Serge Roullier work without chemicals or synthetic inputs, producing bracing, fresh Chenin Blanc and darkly floral, savory Cabernet Franc on schist soils.
From Cabernet Franc vines planted in sandy schist, this wine presents a deeply aromatic expression of Anjou Rouge. Minimal extraction is employed during fermentation to achieve the silkiest texture possible. The nose and palate are rich with pure black fruit, complemented by floral and even woolly accents.
