ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
Produced from Chardonnay grown on a distinctly chalky limestone terroir situated on a plateau overlooking Château London and Crépillionne, this wine benefits from slightly overripe grapes that contribute to its generous alcohol content, as well as rich, rounded texture and pronounced fruit aromas.
Barrel aging is particularly well integrated, beginning midway through fermentation and enhancing the wine’s complexity.
The combination of optimal ripeness and an extended, natural fermentation at low temperatures reflects a deep respect for both terroir and nature. This approach is grounded in the belief that fully ripe fruit is essential to crafting wines of the highest quality.
First created in 1999, this cuvée has since become Domaine Fichet’s benchmark expression of Chardonnay.
