Vines and Roses Estate Vineyard on the legendary Olivet Road sources its grapes mostly from the cool Russian River Valley. Small Pinot parcels from Sonoma Carneros and Petaluma Gap round out the blend's more "Coastal" characteristics. Bench Pinot Noir is deep ruby red in the glass, with a nose of black berry fruit, rose petals, and baking spices. Silky and sumptuous in texture, with black cherry, ripe fig, and cedar wood rounding off a lengthy, flawless finish.
