ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
Located in the exceptional terroir of Sainte-Victoire Mountain, where vines have been cultivated since Antiquity, Château Coussin was acquired in 1903 by Baptistin Gautier and is now owned by his descendants, Olivier and Sophie Sumeire—eighth-generation winemakers in Provence. This 150-hectare vineyard, half of which is classified as AOP Sainte-Victoire, produces high-quality rosé, red, and white wines of exceptional elegance. The estate’s emblematic carved pediment adorns the labels of its wines, reflecting its rich heritage. A pale, elegant color with delicate pink highlights. The "classic Coussin" nose opens with aromas of strawberry, followed by pleasant notes of nectarine and apricot. This aromatic prelude unfolds into a floral palate of rosehip, vibrant and full-bodied, leading to a refined finish of orange and tangerine. A Sainte-Victoire rosé perfect for any season. This wine pairs beautifully with refined seafood dishes such as tuna tartare, gravlax, and lobster risotto, as well as a succulent rack of lamb.
