Chardonnay Lodi - 2022
The second label of Brown Estate, the first Black-owned estate winery in Napa Valley, is HOUSE OF BROWN. In their ecosystem you'll find a vibrant community and dynamic culture that has coalesced as their brand has attracted a tremendously diverse consumer base over the past two decades. HOUSE OF BROWN, created to expand access to the Brown wine experience, is an homage to their Come one, come all (come correct!) ethos. The wines are drinkable at any time and are always in season. Certified sustainable, made by women of color, and suitable for vegans. The appearance of this wine has a canary yellow diamond core, flaxen rim and gemstone clarity. The nose presents night blooming jasmine, tropical guava, starfruit, lychee, and key lime with stone fruit undertones. The palate is juicy yet zesty, lythe and bright with silky, creamy texture. Medium body, lingering finish with hints of honeydew melon, limestone dust, and saline. Pairing inspirations: Oysters, crabcakes, lobster rolls, classic roast chicken, quiche.
