ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
Alexandrine Roy represents the fourth generation of her family to farm in Gevrey-Chambertin, tending just four hectares in the heart of the Côte de Nuits with meticulous care. The Cuvée Alexandrine is the jewel of the range: 100% millerandée grapes, handselected from six of Alexandrine’s favourite plots across the estate. Millerandée grapes are naturally tiny, with thick skins and very little juice, producing a skin-to-juice ratio that delivers extraordinary concentration without intervention.
The nose is dark and focused, built around small black berry fruits with a touch of violet flower and white pepper. On the palate the tannins are round and remarkably silky, the concentration unfolding with complexity and a length that is difficult to find at any price point.
