ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
Alexandrine Roy represents the fourth generation of her family to farm in Gevrey-Chambertin, tending just four hectares in the heart of the Côte de Nuits with meticulous care. The Vieilles Vignes is sourced from two lieux-dits, La Justice and Les Seuvrées, where vines approaching a century old are ploughed by hand and farmed with minimal intervention, their roots drawing deep into the village’s celebrated limestone soils. Grapes are fully destemmed, fermented on indigenous yeasts and aged in barrel, with Alexandrine’s light touch in the cellar preserving the purity that has earned the domaine a loyal following worldwide.
