ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
This variety of maguey, belongs to the group Angustifolia. Maguey pelón verde’s color is an intense green that is covered by a film of a white powder. This peculiar maguey has no thorns in the contour of the leaves. Instead the thorn is found at the tip of the penca. In the community it is known as maguey, green hairy. At full maturity it can reach a height of 80 to 100 cm, and a diameter of 50 cm or more, weighing more than 250 kg on average.
Cooked in an underground pit oven with a tahona process pulled along by a horse to crush the Agaves and then ferment in wooden baths to finalized with a double-distilled by 5 generation Maestro Mezcalero.
